Sadly finished up the last of my HUGE bag of M&Ms from when I went to the Times Square store with my parents. That place is so amazing!

Day 82

I meant to go for a run after work... but I opted for frozen yogurt instead. I can't resist it when I walk past these places on every corner!

Dinner in Little Italy, part of Amelia's going away list (even though I refused to accept that she's leaving me to go back to Athens).

I'm getting two paychecks this week, I definitely deserved a little side trip to 5th Ave on my way home from work. And of course I stopped here to take the pic because of the Flatiron in the background, love it.

Lazy day at the movies & hanging with Amelia. I'm getting really sad all my friends that are just here interning for the summer are about to go back to school...

Took the family to Central Park.

Featured exhibit at MoMA, "Waste Not." The artist collected all of this from his mother's house because they lived in a time where they didn't want to waste anything so they would keep all of their belongings forever, even trash! I'll never consider myself a pack rat again after seeing this..

Saw In The Heights with the family and then ran around Times Square like tourists, love it.

Latest project in the apartment. Painted these shelves white a few years ago to contrast with green Athens walls, now had to paint back to brown so they wouldn't blend in with my boring white NYC walls.

Playing on my friend's roof that's right around the corner from my apartment. Pretty amazing, since the only thing I miss from my apartment last summer is our awesome roof so now I have one to go to!

Went to the mediabistro party at Turtle Bay, one of the many great (free!) networking events for interns and in the city.

My 22nd birthday! I acquired this amazing "birthday tiara" from some very patriotic guy while we were out celebrating and wore it for the remainder of the night.

Watching the fireworks in the Hamptons. Happy Birthday, America.

Enjoyed a day off work strolling around Union Square, shopping, trying things at the Farmer's Market and relaxing.

I love having visitors, especially when the visitor is my best friend since 4th grade.

Best friend arrived in town after I got off work, had a nice relaxing night in cooking dinner, drinking wine and catching up.
